You're Going to Love This...
I hope things went will with the quiz today. We'll spend 5 mins tomorrow entering your choices into the clickers tomorrow. I had a good day - remind me to tell you about it tomorrow. If you do not have a gmail account, I suggest you get one. There will be another cool interweb (really web 2.0) thing that will make your lives so much easier. You see, I uploaded the Presidential Legacies spreadhseet to my other google account (the one I was going to use for school, but I just ended up blogging with this one). So, you can download it from there. Old news, I know - that's what Moodle is for, right? Well, I added a nice feature to this one - YOU can change it online (adding, deleting information) and share your work with everyone. Then, when it is done, you can save it and print it if you'd like for personal study purposes. But there is a catch - even though you may not write something for every president, you should at least read about each one so you have the proper frame of reference when someone else writes the notes. Go try...we'll see what it looks like in class tomorrow and how it has changed by Monday. The formatting was lost, maybe someone wants to go in and fix that up for us...

ReplyDelete^^^Really funny Daily Show about Palin's new book!
that's actually pretty cool! i have a gmail account so it just went right to the spreadsheet and it seems REALLY easy. glad i have that to use if i choose now!
ReplyDeleteso, i showed my mom's boyfriend the sheet and he commented on how washington wasn't an independent, and he was a torry. i wasn't sure how to respond... is that true? or was torry not really considered to be a political party?
actually, never mind about my question! we just looked it up and washington was never endorsed by a specific party... i feel like i knew that already but just wasn't sure. mission accomplished!
