Yes, My Little Masters

By checking the comments section (especially after yesterday's post), you would see that my students expect me to be sitting by a computer and checking blog comments at every moment. That is not the case. It may surprise many that, while I do work a lot at home (research, lesson planning, communication, etc.), I do have a personal life. Occasionally, I eat, drink, go potty, and *GASP* even watch the telly. Do not forget that teachers are human too (some of us, at least)

We took the quiz today and I showed you which Mexican states (Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Yucatan, Morelos, Sonora, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, Chiapas) you need to know for next week's map test, which also includes ALL Canadian provinces, ALL US states, Central America, and the Caribbean. This will be the BIGGEST of all tests so far (until the final, which will have EVERY nation). STUDY!!!

For fun, check out this cartoon:
What do you think?

  2. She's just dumb. I bet she was raised by hamsters in some abandoned garage. At least, that's what I picture whenever I see that video.

  3. Hey Romo, my grade still doesn't have the two new africa nations, and the new africa map, that we did. Are you gonna put those in?

  4. I feel like I'm stalking this website now...but on the part for the carribean, will we have to know all the islands in that strip?

  5. I'm confused about the essay we have to write. What kinds of things are u looking for besides no "i statements" name and title on back and it must be about Darfur or another conflict in Africa.

  6. hey romo I have a question. Do you want us to put the two spaces between each sentence? Or was that something mr rees went over in class... (you dont have to answer the 2nd one obviously)

  7. Harrison - nobody has scores for Two New Countries.
Grace - FORMATTING and simply having an idea that is explained.
Evie - That's a standard requirement, but I did not mention it assuming everyone already knew. If Rees requires it, so do I (as will everyone else)
Everyone - Laptop or Notebook? Which do you prefer?

  12. yes jewishfish. Central America is part of North America, therefore it is part of the test. To be clearer, the test is on Central America, the Caribbean, those couple Mexican States, the States of the U.S, and Canadian Provinces.
Calm down about the paper. If you have questions about the formatting, ask him tomorrow and then print it before its due on Tuesday. Not to hard.
