But it's Not Fair!

Nothing ever will be completely fair.  We made it through today - I can't wait until I get a chance to analyze the results of the Ch 10 PreQuiz - from what I glanced at today, it is obvious that some of you did not read the chapter.  Frustrating.  Don't forget to participate in the forum (under week 9 in the Moodle).  We'll zoom through the Ch. 10 slideshow tomorrow after whetting your appetite today.  We could spend the rest of the year studying the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections.  It will forever be at the forefront of "what-ifs" and "woulda-shoulda-coulda" political arguments in your lifetime.  SNL showed us the parallel universe a few years ago (I Do NOT Endorse the Ad):

I should be more mobile tomorrow so be ready to learn, ask, and discuss.

There is also a need for clarification regarding the Presidential Legacies assignment that is "due" Wednesday.  I do not want anyone to email or submit something.  I will simply check the online document and decide if it is worthy.  I'll pester you with some questions and see if you deserve the credit - kind of a crapshoot, but we'll see how it goes.

Lastly, I'd like to lob a grenade into your Thanksgiving gatherings.  Have any of you ever heard of or read Alfie Kohn? I guarantee that some of you will LOVE his ideas.  To get you started, read this and discuss with your family over the long weekend.
