Potatoes Grow Limbs

That's according to Porter. I think it's more like they sprout roots. Maybe we need a casting call for the sitcom.

In class today, you critiqued some policy papers. We'll do a couple more tomorrow (AFTER your North America Test) and then tally up the averages. Bring a calculator. I'll weed through and find the best ones to share with everyone on Monday.

    I was studying for the map test tomorrow like a good student, and I noticed that you have the islands Trinidad and Tobago flip flopped on yesterday's post. Last I checked Trinidad was the big island. http://www.thepalmstobago.com/gifs/tobago2-big.gif

    So extra credit if we do all of Mexico? Nice. Mr. Romo when you said 'All or nothing' you meant 'Get them all right or no extra points' Not 'Get some of them wrong and you will have the total points possible increased but getting a zero on that part thereby making the rest of the test fairly futile' right?

    NO Iceland or Greenland, but if you are worried about them, you probably know them! Ellen - you do NOT need to know all of the littleislands of the Lesser Antilles. Format - you will have a half-sheet again, but will enter your choices using the clickers, so we get a score right away. I might ask for a waiver so I can post score results next time. ALL Mexican states for EC. Miss one...no EC.

    5 = Bahamas, 7 = Virgin Islands, 8 = Lesser Antilles, 9= Trinidad, 10 = Tobago, 11 = Netherlands Antilles.

    i think that we should have another extra credit opportunity by knowing all the islands in that one strip of the lesser antilles... especially because i didnt know that 8 was talking about all of those as a whole so i studied all the tiny islands names and locations.

    I am so bomb at this. I will take this test outback and shoot it Old 'Yeller style. I will do to it what the Janjaweed did to Darfur. I will end its existence or at least make it wish I did. After I am done with this test it will drop out of school, become addicted to meth and start writing emo poetry to relieve the agony of both its crushing defeat and to forget the intense, unfathomable humiliation it will feel at my hands.

    hey roommooooo. this is kind of late but im worried now. I guess i thought that we only needed to know the us, canadian provinces, and those couple states of mexico you showed us.
    apparently there's carribean stuff too??!!
    Islands? Cuba? Antilles? Tobago??
    WHEN did you say we had to know that stuff!
    In class, you went over the us, canada, and mexico so i studied the us, canada, and mexico!!!!!

    Jenna, you will need to know Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Netherlands Antilles, Lesser Antilles, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Tobago, and Trinidad for the Caribbean. There is also a Central American part, too, Jenna. If you did not know, it is Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. You will do fine!

    PS. Romo, thanks soooooooo much for the planner notes. I honestly really appreciated it.
