Money, Love, and Tests

They all go hand-in-hand, don't they? We discussed the ROMOTHINK (link to that site is on the right) after I explained everything you should have for next week's tests. Interesting discussions today - Many people valuing love over money, which is a nice contradiction to perceived norms. But I seriously want you to consider the following: Can love really exist f it is not reciprocated? Must both individuals have love for one another in order for one to love the other? Or can love be a one-way street? I look forward to reading your comments. And don't forget to register with BLOGGER so I know who is actually appearing here.

  2. ok well what i was trying to say earlier but you didn't call on me is that love can exist for anyone anywhere. money is available for some people and not so easy to attain for others. love can rekindle bonds in families and friends, and provide great "incentive" = ] for a boyfriend/girlfriend. love is greater. So yeah..that's pretty much my point.

  3. Of course love can exist when not reciprocated. It just might get tiresome and fade over time.

    @Brandon(or not): Dude. That's deep.

    @Amanda: 1. YOU OWE ME MONEY. 2.I agree.

  4. I say that no, love doesn't exist if there is no reciprication, When only one person feels that way it isn't love, it is affection or adoration.

  5. love can definitely be a one way street. I am sure that it happens all the time. If you have love and money, you're set. What else could you ask for?

  9. Mr. Romo, will we have to know the republicanism, liberalism, and conservatism in 19th century Europe for the test?

  10. I think there is a fine line between love and obsession. When there is no reciprocation, it often becomes obsession. And obsession really is not the same as love, in my opinion.

  11. i agree with morgan.
    but also, attraction and liking can be one way, but for real love, it has to be two way. thats why so many people get divorced maybe... one person is really attracted, but the other not so much, or not as much. it has to be pretty equal.

  12. Obsession leads to coveting that which does not belong to you. And we all know where that leads. What about arranged marriages? Can love grow from nothing or must there be "something" at the beginning? A "spark" if you will.

  14. yes i belive that can grow from a "spark" that is if there is a true spark. And that "spark" as you may call it can fad away at the end.
