Perfect Candidate?

You will construct your ideal candidate for President of the United States. You will NOT be able to pick age, gender, race/ethnicity, etc. That will be randomly assigned. But you WILL determine your candidate's political philosophy. You will work within groups of 3-5 people. Your first task is to KNOW THE ISSUES. You will then develop policy positions and a campaign (Slogan, poster/image, etc.). The "Project" will be due next week after three days of computer lab access (Mon & Friday in Media Center, Weds in E118).
Here is a list of policy issues for which you must develop your candidate's position.
You can check the following sites for information:

PresidentialElection.com
Ontheissues.org
Republican Party
Democratic Party
Libertarian Party
Green Party
Socialist Party
Politico

I suggest you learn about each issue in general terms, and then divide the intensive research among the 4-5 of your group members.Oh, and here are your groups:

5.1 - Ezra, Elizabeth, Rachel, Thuy
5.2 - Ruben, Lindsey, Kelsey, Breanna
5.3 - Caitlin, Oyuki, Fadumo, Amy, Rosa
5.4 - Travis, John, Sam H, Robert
