Power? SHaring? No Way! When it comes to Federalism...yes way! Your quiz is set. It's a little more textbook-based sicne we zoomed through the in-class presentation, but there are still many that you can get simply by being somewhat coherent during class (Simon? Florrie?). Thirty Multiple Choice questions. Thirty Minutes...not a second more. I will be at school by 7:45 if anyone needs to take it early due to HC/SG stuff. Otherwise...get back to studying (or at least start to do so)...

i heard someone say we could take it friday before noon?
ReplyDeleteI was watching C-span this evening and Rep. Anthony Weiner from New York had the floor. He was debating health care reform with our very own, Michelle Bachman, mentioning unfunded mandates and even using firemen and the fire department as an analogy to Health Care. Boy, talk about in class relevance huh?
ReplyDeleteNoam - you are such a nerd. Kudos! I'll try to grab it online this weekend.
ReplyDeleteNoah and others: Yes, I will be at school on Friday for conferences, but I have to leave at noon. If you have an EXCUSED absence on Thursday, you can take it on Friday, but you only get 20-25 minutes (instead of 25-30). Pick your poison.
im there friday morning. 9 oclock does that work?
ReplyDeletewhy are you taking time off?
ReplyDeleteBecause we have longer to study. Ill be there Friday morning at 10.
ReplyDeleteRomo i have a question concerning privaleges and immunites. If the goal of this is not to descriminate from against citizens of other states why if i were to apply to a college in let say california, would i have to pay like 20,000$ more to attend than someone in california? It hardly seems fair considering i would have to a california sales tax while I'm there like a californian but i have to pay a tuition of a non californian.
ReplyDeleteBecause education funding comes from state taxes, which are meant to support state residents. When you apply to colleges, you are free to apply anywhere. Fees for "outsiders" CAN be higher if it can be shown that state taxes help subsidize costs (which should benefit residents only). Understand?
