Why do we use proprietary names even when referring to generic brands? as you can tell, I am focusing on Kleenex because of my cold. It wiped me out this past weekend - I had to cancel plans and everything, becoming a bored, tired, sick hermit.
In class today, we analyzed papers, you got your back, and then we were introduced to parliamentary procedure. Motions carried included the following: Adnan was kicked out of class, Amanda is no longer to be referred to as something from first quarter, and...forgot.
I will NOT be in class tomorrow. A speaker is scheduled to present Model UN. If the speaker is a no-show, you have a reading about Colonialism with a question handout. Keep the handout, but return the reading at the end of class. If the speaker does show up and does not take up the entire class period, use your time to study for the World test on Friday.

YES THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
ReplyDeleteps how do you do the math hw for whoever has polanski??
ReplyDeletewait.. we had math homework?! O_O
ReplyDeleterelax, there was no math homework. we spent the whole period on the chapter 11 test. no worries... and if you do have worries you should buy a ticket from me to see a comedian hypnotist on march 27 at 7:00pm at SW highschool... yeah, that would help you... definitely.
ReplyDeleteI panicked when I remembered that Lauren had asked when the world test was (on friday) and you said it was on Tuesday. I remembered at 4:00 PM today.
ReplyDeleteBut It's Not. Goooood.
Actually, for those of you who have Polanski, we DO have homework: Page 401 #1-6.
ReplyDeleteAs far as how to do them, I can only give a few pointers. You must find the equations of the lines that MAKE the orthocenter and the centroid before you find each of those. Using a system of equations, you can find where they intersect.
For example, if you wanted to find the centroid, you would need to find the equation for a line that goes from one of the triangle's vertices to the midpoint of the opposite line. Do that for another side, and then you can find the point at which they intersect, or the centroid.
I'm sorry if that does not help - reading over it, it sounds as though it will just confuse you more. I tried my best.
haha yeah thanks for the try.
ReplyDeletei know HOW to but just not HOW TO FIND the equation.
but thanks anyways.
i'll probably just ask Will at lunch tomorrow. = ]
Good plan. And we have a sub tomorrow (Miss Sutherland!) so we will probably have classtime to work.
